Join us on Thursday, October 29th for our 4th annual Flights of Fancy event all about Alberta bats!
Enjoy an engaging evening from the comfort of your home as we meet virtually with guest speaker, Susan Holroyd.
Susan, from the Alberta Community Bat Program, will talk about Alberta bats, the diversity of the species we have in the province, as well as the threats they face. You’ll learn what to do if you find a bat, the benefits of bat houses, and you will learn more about the Community Bat Program and how you can help with bat conservation. The session will end in time for questions from registrants.
When: Thursday, October 29th, 2020. 7pm to 8:15pm.
Where: Online via Zoom. You will be sent an email with meeting information once your registration has been paid.
You will get the chance to take part in our raffle to win a bat house donated by Prairie Bird Nest Boxes.
Raffle tickets will be for sale on Thursday, October 29th at aiwc.shop and the winning ticket will be drawn after Susan’s talk. Registrants will be emailed with a link to purchase raffle tickets, and links will be shared on social media. This raffle is open to all.
Proceeds from this event go to supporting the care of injured and orphaned wildlife in need. Already, AIWC has cared for more animals in 2020 than in all of 2019. Events like this are crucial to our ability to care for wildlife in need. Thank you for your support!
